No forced homework — but always available

The goal is for students to be interested enough that they code between lessons on their own. I'm available for questions and can set optional tasks, but I'd rather you build something you care about than grind through assignments.

The people behind it
E
Ethan
Founder & Lead Tutor · Age 16

I started coding when I was 9 — not because anyone told me to, but because I wanted to build things. Seven years later I've worked through dozens of technologies, built real projects, and developed a way of teaching that I genuinely wish I'd had.

I know what it's like to be a young person learning to code — what clicks, what doesn't, and how to keep it interesting. That's the approach here.

Parent Oversight
Ethan's dad · EHE Advisor

Running a home education household means a lot of admin — especially those yearly reports. Ethan's dad is available to parents for guidance on Elective Home Education requirements, reviewing yearly reports, and any questions about home ed life.

While he's not involved in lessons, having an experienced EHE parent on hand has been invaluable for many families in the community.
